Customer admittance (AGE)

Niku Bar & Restaurant operate a 21 and over age policy on Friday and Saturdays Evening service from 5pm. All guests will be asked to provide proof of ID which must be a passport or drivers or provisional licence. We do not accept photocopies.

Due to Niku Bar & Restaurant not offering child facilities (baby changing area etc.) We unfortunately cannot accommodate children during evening service (6pm onwards on Fridays & Saturdays).  Children are welcome on other weekdays all evening.

Dress Code

Smart/casual No tracksuits Fri-Sat after 5pm.

No Hats, No Caps, No Hoodies allowed anytime.

Under the age of 21 are not allowed Fri-Sat after 5pm.

Group Bookings

Niku Bar & Restaurant operates on a deposit for bookings £10 deposit per head and require up to 24 hours’ notice to cancel a booking, otherwise we will not be able to refund the booking deposit. Guests which do not turnup will lose the £10 per person deposit due to seating being allocated.


When dining at Niku Bar & Restaurant, customers must order a main course to be seated in our indoor restaurant. Each customer must order a starter or bar canape menu when dining in our garden area or lounge area. Last orders can be placed 15 minutes before the kitchen closes.

(The Kitchen shuts: Tuesday to Thursday 22.30, Friday – Saturday kitchen shuts at 23.00 and Sunday 22:30)

There is a discretionary 10% service charge that will be added to your bill.

Card payments

We accept card payments, however we do limit card transactions to two card payment per table. For groups of 6 or more we operate drinks on a pay as you go service.

Parking policy

There is limited on street parking available with various parking restricts on the right hand side between 4pm-7pm. Please check all signs before parking. On behalf of our residents, we ask that all our guests consider our neighbours and do not park on any drop down curbs or in front of any driveways.


We operate in a semi residential area and ask that all our guests leave quietly and do not gather at the front of the building.

Garden Area

The Niku Secret Garden area is welcome to all Niku Guests until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The last drink orders for outside is 8:40pm for Sunday to Thursdays and 9:30pm for Fridays and Saturdays. To avoid disappointment please reserve a table either inside or outside in advance. Please note if there are no tables available inside, you may have to wait for a table outside.

Smoking area

We operate in a semi-residential area and ask our guests to keep noise to a minimum when outside. The smoking area is the designed area on the left. No smoking around tables where guests are sat in the garden area.


For all groups under 4, we operate a walk in policy. For reservations of 4 or more, please book. We advise to pre-order to avoid disappointment to keep all Niku guests happy. For bookings requested on Fridays and Saturdays, we recommend that enquiries are made at least a week in advance to avoid disappointment.

We accept no liability for any damages to clothing or personal belongings lost in cloak rooms or during events.
